Our mission is to elevate and celebrate great LPs

We want to create a community where Pallas Investors can hang out and help each other make the most educated investment decisions.

Why the name Pallas?

Pallas is named after Athena, epithet Pallas. Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom, strength, and independent thinking, which we believe are essential traits of successful investors. If there were a Greek deity for investing, it would most likely be Athena.

In a more nuanced way, Pallas was the best childhood friend of Athena. During a practice fight, Pallas was winning but then Zeus, father of Athena, didn’t want his daughter to lose so he wielded his shield. Pallas was mesmerized by the shield and lost attention for a second, resulting in Athena accidentally killing her best friend Pallas.

After that, Athena named her epithet to be Pallas. Pallas is the “alternative” to Athena, i.e. alternative investing to the stock market.
